Introduced in the HouseDead

This bill died when its Congress ended.

Bills don't carry over between Congresses. Without re-introduction in a new session, it cannot advance.

This bill rescinds funds that were provided to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and reallocates the funds to the U.S. Secret Service. Specifically, the bill (1) rescinds $3 billion of the unobligated funds that were provided to the IRS by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022; and (2) provides $3 billion for the U.S. Secret Service to apply the same standards, practices, and protocols for protecting the President to protecting Vice Presidents, major presidential and vice presidential candidates, and former Presidents.
