Official title: A bill to amend title 13, United States Code, to require that population census records be transferred to the National Archives within 50 years after a census, and that such records be made available after 50 years to persons conducting research for genealogical or other proper purposes.

Stipulates that such records be made available 50 years from the census date to persons conducting geneological research or other proper purposes. Directs the Secretary of Commerce to make census records available to qualified medical researchers ten years after a census or to transfer such records to the National Archives for dissemination by the Archivist to such researchers. (Adds 13 U.S.C. 10)
