Stop Superbugs Act

The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases shall award a competitive grant for the Antibiotic Resistance Leadership Group for the purpose of facilitating a clinical research network on antibiotic resistance, which shall include focuses on—

(1) supporting rapid recruitment of clinical trial participants;

(2) conducting clinical trial recruitment outreach in community settings;

(3) supporting the pairing of diagnostic and pharmaceutical innovations during clinical trials; and

(4) developing patient-reported outcomes in clinical studies.

There is authorized to be appropriated to the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases such sums as may be necessary to carry out subsection (a).
