Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Glenwood Hot Springs Protection Act.
(a) Prohibition
The Secretary of the Interior shall not process or approve any application for the expansion of existing mineral operations located on any mining or mill site claim located under the general mining laws, or for any mineral material sales contract or application under the Act of July 31, 1947 (commonly known as the Materials Act of 1947) (61 Stat. 681, chapter 406; 30 U.S.C. 601 et seq.), or the Act of July 23, 1955 (commonly known as the Surface Resources Act of 1955) (69 Stat. 367, chapter 375; 30 U.S.C. 611 et seq.), for limestone on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management that is located in whole or in part within the land described in subsection (b).
(b) Land described
The land referred to in subsection (a) includes the following land located in Garfield County, Colorado:
(1) Sec. 4, T. 6 S., R. 89 W., sixth principal meridian.
(2) Secs. 25 and 36, T. 5 S., R. 89 W., sixth principal meridian.
(3) Secs. 30 and 31, T. 5 S., R. 88 W., sixth principal meridian.
