Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the National Coal Council Act of 2025.
(a) In general
The Secretary of Energy shall reestablish the National Coal Council, in accordance with the charter for the National Coal Council (as filed with Congress on June 16, 2025).
(b) Applicability of the Federal Advisory Committee Act
Chapter 10 of title 5, United States Code (commonly known as the Federal Advisory Committee Act) (except for section 1013 of that title), shall apply to the National Coal Council.
