Section 1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Extending Expired Cybersecurity Authorities Act.

(a) In general

Section 111(a) of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 (6 U.S.C. 1510(a)) is amended by striking September 30, 2025 and inserting September 30, 2035.

(b) Retroactive Effective Date

The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect as if enacted on October 1, 2025.

(1) In general

Section 101 of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 (6 U.S.C. 1501 note) is amended by striking Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 and inserting Protecting America from Cyber Threats Act.

(2) Conforming amendments

Title XXII of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (6 U.S.C. 101 et seq.) is amended by striking Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 each place it appears and inserting Protecting America from Cyber Threats Act.
