Section 1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Just Incarceration of Criminal Elements in D.C. Act or the JUSTICE in D.C. Act.

Section 2. Repeal of the Incarceration Reduction Amendment and Second Look Amendment Acts

Section 3c of the Act entitled An Act to establish a Board of Indeterminate Sentence and Parole for the District of Columbia and to determine its functions, and for other purposes, approved July 15, 1932 (sec. 24-403.03, D.C. Official Code), is amended to read as follows:

Section 3c. Grants for victims of violent crime

Beginning in fiscal year 2026, the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants shall, on an annual basis, issue grants in an amount that is not more than $200,000 per grant per year to organizations that provide services to survivors of violent crimes, including advocacy, mental health, and employment services.
