A bill to amend the Act of October 19, 1973, to increase the maximum dollar amount of per capita shares for purposes of eligibility for financial assistance or other benefits under Federal or federally assisted programs, and for other purposes.

Section 7 of the Act of October 19, 1973 (25 U.S.C. 1407), is amended, in the undesignated matter following paragraph (4), by striking $2,000 and inserting $5,000.

Section 7 of the Act of October 19, 1973 (25 U.S.C. 1407), is amended—

(1) in paragraph (1), by striking, or and inserting a comma; and

(2) in paragraph (4), by striking cede and inserting ceded.
