Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Pathway to Trades Act.
Section 2. Agreements with institutions for Federal Perkins Loans
Section 463(a) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1087cc(a)) is amended—
(1) in paragraph (8), by striking and at the end;
(2) by redesignating paragraph (9) as paragraph (10); and
(3) by inserting after paragraph (8) the following:
(9) provide that the institution of higher education will—
(A) designate a faculty member as a point of contact for students studying, or interested in studying, trades; and
(B) develop courses for students relating to trades; and.
