Establish nationwide concealed carry reciprocity for certain members of the Armed Forces

(a) In general

Section 926B of title 18, United States Code, is amended—

(1) in the section heading, by adding and members of the Armed Forces at the end;

(2) in subsection (a), by inserting or a qualified member of the Armed Forces after law enforcement officer;

(3) in subsection (c)—

(A) by redesignating paragraphs (1) through (6) as subparagraphs (A) through (F), respectively;

(B) by striking As used in this section, the term and inserting As used in this section:

(1) The term; and

(C) by adding at the end the following new paragraph:

(2) The term qualified member of the Armed Forces means a member of the Armed Forces who—

(A) is serving on active duty; and

(B) completed a military firearms qualification within the preceding 12 months.; and

(4) in subsection (d)—

(A) by striking is the photographic identification and inserting is—

(1) with respect to a law enforcement officer, the photographic identification;

(B) by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and

(C) by adding at the end the following new paragraph:

(2) with respect to a qualified member of the Armed Forces, a valid Department of Defense common access card (or successor means of identification) and documentary proof that the member possesses a valid military firearms qualification.

(b) Clerical amendment

The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking the item relating to section 926B and inserting the following new item:
