Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Federal Diversity Jurisdiction Modernization Act of 2026.
(a) Amendment to title 28, united states code
Section 1332(a) of title 28, United States Code, is amended by striking $75,000 and inserting $500,000.
(b) Applicability
The amendment made by this section shall apply to any civil action commenced on or after the date of enactment of this Act.
