(1) In general

Section 330(b)(1)(A)(i) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254b(b)(1)(A)(i)) is amended—

(A) in subclause (IV), by striking and at the end;

(B) in subclause (V), by striking the semicolon at the end and inserting; and; and

(C) by adding at the end the following:

(VI) behavioral and mental health and substance use disorder services;

(2) Conforming amendment

Section 330(b)(2) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254b(b)(2)) is amended—

(A) by striking subparagraph (A); and

(B) by redesignating subparagraphs (B), (C), and (D) as subparagraphs (A), (B), and (C), respectively.

(b) Funding

Section 10503(b) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (42 U.S.C. 254b–2(b)) is amended—

(1) in paragraph (1)(K), by striking and at the end;

(2) in paragraph (2)(L), by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and

(3) by adding at the end the following:

(3) to be transferred to the Secretary of Health and Human Services to provide enhanced funding to provide the services specified in subclause (VI) of section 330(b)(1)(A)(i) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254b(b)(1)(A)(i)), $700,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2031.
