Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Funding is Zero for Zero Nutrition Options (FIZZ-NO) Act of 2025.
Section 2. Amendments
Section 3 of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2012) is amended—
(1) in subsection (k) by inserting soda, after alcoholic beverages,, and
(2) by inserting after subsection (r) the following:
(r–1) Soda means a carbonated beverage that contains more than 1 gram of added sugar, artificial sweetener, or flavoring per serving.
Section 3. Effective date
This Act shall take effect 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
