Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the End Needless Distribution of 7-OH Act or the END 7-OH Act.
Section 2. Scheduling of 7-hydroxymitragynine
Schedule I, as set forth in section 202(c) of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 812(c)), is amended by adding at the end of subsection (b) of such schedule the following:
(23) 7-hydroxymitragynine—
(A) including its synthetic equivalents; but
(B) not including 7-hydroxymitragynine naturally contained in the plant of the genus and species name: Mitragyna speciosa Korth, also known as kratom.
