Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act and Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act District of Columbia Equality Act of 2026

This Act may be cited as the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act and Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act District of Columbia Equality Act of 2026.

The Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act (16 U.S.C. 669 et seq.) is amended—

(1) in section 2 (16 U.S.C. 669a)—

(A) by redesignating paragraphs (6) through (11) as paragraphs (7) through (12), respectively; and

(B) by inserting after paragraph (5) the following:

(6) the term State means each of the several States and the District of Columbia;

(B) ; and

(2) in section 4 (16 U.S.C. 669c)—

(A) in subsection (b), by striking several;

(B) in subsection (d)(1)(A), by striking District of Columbia and to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, each and inserting Commonwealth of Puerto Rico,; and

(C) in subsection (e)(5), by striking the District of Columbia,.

The Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act (16 U.S.C. 777 et seq.) is amended—

(1) in section 2 (16 U.S.C. 777a)—

(A) by striking and at the end of paragraph (2);

(B) by striking the period at the end of paragraph (3) and inserting; and; and

(C) by adding at the end the following:

(4) the term State means each of the several States and the District of Columbia.

(2) in section 4(c)(1) (16 U.S.C. 777c(c)(1)), by striking several; and

(3) in section 12 (16 U.S.C. 777k)—

(A) in the first sentence—

(i) by striking the Mayor of the District of Columbia,;

(ii) by striking the District of Columbia,; and

(iii) by striking for the District of Columbia one-third of 1 per centum,; and

(B) in the second sentence, by striking the District of Columbia,.
