Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Asylum Accountability Act.
Section 2. Permanent ineligibility for adjustment of status after failure to appear at removal proceeding
Section 240(b)(7) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1229a(b)(7)) is amended by striking for a period of 10 years after the date of the entry of the final order of removal.
