Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Firearms Congressional Notification Modernization Act.
Section 2. Modification to notice requirement
Section 36 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2776) is amended—
(1) in subsection (a), by inserting (or, in the case of a defense article that is a firearm controlled under category I of the United States Munitions List, $4,000,000 or more) after $1,000,000 or more each place it appears; and
(2) in subsection (c), by striking $1,000,000 and inserting $4,000,000.
