Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the National Coal Council Reestablishment Act.
(a) In general
The Secretary of Energy shall reestablish in the Department of Energy the National Coal Council, in accordance with the charter for the National Coal Council that was in effect on November 19, 2021.
(1) In general
Subject to paragraph (2), chapter 10 of title 5, United States Code, (commonly referred to as the Federal Advisory Committee Act) and section 552b(c) of title 5, United States Code, shall apply to the National Coal Council.
(2) Termination
Section 1013 of title 5, United States Code, shall not apply to the National Coal Council.
