Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Safeguarding American Property Act of 2025.
Section 2. Detention of certain criminal aliens who commit certain property crimes
Section 236(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1226(c)) is amended—
(1) in paragraph (1)(E)(ii), by inserting trespassing, vandalism, arson, before burglary; and
(2) in paragraph (2), by striking and serious bodily injury and inserting serious bodily injury, trespassing, vandalism, and arson.
