Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Ending Restaurant Purchases with SNAP Act of 2026.
Section 2. Amendments
The Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.) is amended—
(1) in section 3(k)—
(A) in paragraph (3), by striking private establishments that contract with the appropriate agency of the State to offer meals for such persons at concessional prices subject to section 9(h),;
(B) in paragraph (4), by striking or by a private establishment that contracts with the appropriate State agency to perform such services at concessional prices subject to section 9(h),; and
(C) in paragraph (9), by striking and by private establishments that contract with the appropriate agency of the State to offer meals for such individuals at concessional prices subject to section 9(h);
(2) in section 7(f)(2)—
(A) in subparagraph (A), by striking (including restaurants participating in a State option restaurant program intended to serve the elderly, disabled, and homeless); and
(B) in subparagraph (B)(ii), by striking, other than restaurants participating in a State option restaurant program;
(3) in section 9—
(A) by striking subsection (h); and
(B) by redesignating subsections (i) and (j) as subsections (h) and (i), respectively; and
(4) in section 11(e)—
(A) by striking paragraph (25); and
(B) by redesignating paragraph (26) as paragraph (25).
Section 3. Effective date
This Act and the amendments made by this Act shall take effect 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
