Section 1. Forest Service special use permits for housing

Section 7 of the Act of April 24, 1950 (commonly known as the Granger-Thye Act) (64 Stat. 84, chapter 97; 16 U.S.C. 580d), is amended by striking thirty years as determined by him and inserting 30 years, or in the case of a permit for housing that is located west of the 100th meridian in the contiguous 48 States, 100 years, as determined by the Secretary of Agriculture.
