Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Rural Mail Delivery Improvement Act.
Section 2. Requirement for the Postal Service to implement certain recommendations of the Inspector General
Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the United States Postal Service shall review and, to the extent practicable, implement the recommendations of the Inspector General of the United States Postal Service with respect to delayed mail, staffing, and training in the report by the Office of the Inspector General of the United States Postal Service entitled Delivery in Northern Minnesota: Audit Report (24–048–R24), dated May 6, 2024.
