Specialty Crop Security Act of 2024

This Act may be cited as the Specialty Crop Security Act of 2024.

Section 101 of the Specialty Crops Competitiveness Act of 2004 (7 U.S.C. 1621 note; Public Law 108–465) is amended—

(1) in subsection (a), in the matter preceding paragraph (1)—

(A) by striking 2023 and inserting 2028; and

(B) by inserting through priorities established annually by State program administrators, in consultation with specialty crop producers and producer groups after specialty crops;

(2) in subsection (e)—

(A) by striking indicate how and inserting the following:

(A) indicate—

(1) how

(A) ;

(B) in paragraph (1) (as so designated), by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and

(C) by adding at the end the following:

(2) how outreach to, and consultation with, specialty crop stakeholders will be achieved.

(C) ; and

(3) in subsection (l)(1)—

(A) in subparagraph (D), by striking and at the end;

(B) in subparagraph (E), by striking fiscal year 2018 and each fiscal year thereafter. and inserting each of fiscal years 2018 through 2023; and; and

(C) by adding at the end the following:

(F) $100,000,000 for fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter.
