Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Preventing Corruption in Advisory Roles Act.
(a) In general
Chapter 81 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 1589 the following:
Section 1590. Prohibition on special Government employees from obligations or expending Federal funds
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a special Government employee (as that term is defined in section 202(a) of title 18) occupying a position in the Department of Defense may not, while carrying out the official duties of the employee’s position, obligate or expend any Federal funds.
(b) Clerical amendment
The table of sections for such chapter is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 1589 the following:
