Section 1. Sense of Congress on use of hybrid-electric engine technology in military wheeled vehicles
It is the sense of Congress that—
(1) the use of hybrid-electric propulsion technology in military wheeled vehicles has been shown to provide enhanced lethality to warfighters compared to the use of conventional engine technology in such vehicles; and
(2) the Secretary of the Army should support efforts to implement hybrid-electric engine technology within the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle fleet of the Army.
