Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Save the Green to Gold Program Act.
Section 2. Inclusion of service in SROTC in the computation of length of service an officer appointed for completing SROTC
Subsection (c) of section 2106 of title 10, United States Code, is amended—
(1) by striking August 1, 1979, as a member of the Selected Reserve. and inserting an em dash; and
(2) by adding at the end the following new paragraphs:
(1) August 1, 1979, as a member of the Selected Reserve; or
(2) the date of the enactment of the Save the Green to Gold Program Act, regardless of the component in which the officer performed such enlisted service.
