Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Modernizing the Veterans On-Campus Experience Act of 2024.
Section 2. Department of Veterans Affairs on-campus educational and vocational counseling
Section 3697B(a) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—
(1) by inserting (1) before The Secretary;
(2) by striking employees of the Department who provide such services under section 3697A of this title. and inserting an employee of the Department who holds a bachelors degree or a more advanced degree in a relevant field of study.; and
(3) by adding at the end the following new paragraph:
(2) An employee of the Department who provides counseling services under this section—
(A) may provide such services on the campuses of more than one institution of higher learning; and
(B) may not provide such services to more than a total of 25 individuals at any one time.
