Section 1. Encouragement of native vegetation use
Section 1244(h) of the Food Security Act of 1985 (16 U.S.C. 3844(h)) is amended—
(1) in the heading, by inserting and native vegetation use after protection;
(2) in paragraph (1), by striking; and and inserting a semicolon;
(3) in paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and
(4) by adding at the end the following:
(3) the use of native vegetation.
