Colorado River Salinity Control Fix Act

This act modifies the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program to increase the federal cost share of salinity control projects that reduce the salt load in the Colorado River and other waters in the basin. The program supports salinity control projects or research in the (1) Upper Colorado River Basin in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming; and (2) the Lower Colorado River Basin in Arizona, California, and Nevada. The program receives funding from appropriations for nonreimbursable costs and power revenues for reimbursable costs. The act increases the percentages of nonreimbursable costs to increase support provided to the Lower Colorado River Basin.
