Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Water Conservation Economic Adjustment Act.
Section 2. Particular community assistance
Section 209(c) of the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 3149(c)) is amended—
(1) in paragraph (4) by striking or at the end;
(2) in paragraph (5) by striking the period at the end and inserting; or; and
(3) by adding at the end the following:
(6) environmental conditions contributing to decreased water supplies, including drought and extreme heat, for assisting regional economies with limiting industrial consumptive use of water and adapting relevant infrastructure.
