Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Medicare Home Health Accessibility Act.
(a) In general
Sections 1814(a)(2)(C) and 1835(a)(2)(A) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395f(a)(2)(C); 1395n(a)(2)(A)) are each amended by striking or speech therapy and all that follows through need occupational therapy and inserting, occupational, or speech therapy.
(b) Effective date
The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to home health services provided on or after January 1, 2025.
