Radon Testing for Safe Schools Act

Radon Testing for Safe Schools Act - Directs the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to establish a nationwide program to test a sample of schools in each State for purposes of identifying areas with elevated radon levels. Requires the Administrator to give priority to States containing high-risk areas identified under the Toxic Substances Control Act. Directs the Administrator to promulgate regulations requiring local educational agencies to test schools in areas having elevated radon levels. Authorizes the Administrator to provide financial assistance to such agencies to carry out such testing. Limits the Federal share of testing costs to 50 percent of the total cost. Requires the results of such tests to be made available to the public. Authorizes appropriations.
